It's the start of summer season. They kids are all winding up their school year. And everyone seems to be looking for excuses to take it easy.
The post office doesn't seem to be exempt from this either!
Did you know it's National Dog Bite Prevention Week!?!?! I was suprised when I saw this poster becuase 1) it's a NATIONAL event! and 2) It takes a WEEK for this annual event?

Here's a super-cool reason to visit Dunkin Donuts this week...besides the fact that both Dunkin' locations in Livingston are new/remodeled this past year.On May 15th, everyone will get a Free Iced Coffee drink from 10am to 10pm. Sounds like a coooool deal? Yeah.And while you're grabbing free stuff around town, drive by McDonalds too because they are giving away their new Chicken Biscuit sandwiches in the morning for free as well as free McChicken sandwiches in the afternoon.
Free drinks. Free food. It's a great day in May!

Livingston is now a part of Bergen County...
Even though Livingston is in Essex County, for some reason the Livingston Library is part of the Bergen County Cooperative Library system.
So what? It means that you can log on to www.bccls.com and order books from any of the numerous libraries in the entire Bergen County area for free. And guess what, they'll deliver the books or videos to Livingston Library for free and then call you when it's ready to pick it up!
It's an amazing resource, why not take advantage of it?
Yes, that's right: take advantage of what Bergen County taxpayers have paid for on your behalf! :-)

It's that time of year again!
The sun is out and the Kiwanis carnival is coming to the location on East Northfield Avenue across from Bagles4U on May 6th through May 10th.
Usually the prices for the rides are absolutely sky high and scary unlike the kiddie rides themselves.
But the kids don't care, they love the rides you're willing to pay, right?
My suggestion if you're not up for supporting the local Kiwanis club?
Try out Bowcraft Amusement park for the day if you want a better experience for your wallet and your kids.
