Technology is for the birds!

The Hartshorn Arboretum in Short Hills is gearing up for a fabulous 2009 season.

If you don't know of it alreadys, they have wonderful environmental education programs for children ages 2 1/2 through 12.

Jennifer Ward the author of "I Love Dirt" writes that "study after study indicates time outdoors in a natural setting is not simply a nice-to-have activity...it is a vital element for healthy childhood development."

Yes! I could not agree more! The Arboretum is buzzing with activities this Spring. In April, the Arboretum will celebrate National Environmental Education Week with both adult and family programs.

You can find out more by contacting the Cora Hartshorn Arboretum -- call 973.376.3587 or go to their website: www.Hartshornarboretum.org
