It's a Rough Journey To Livingston
If you've been commuting on Route 280, you've undoubtedly noticed the CONSTRUCTION that seems to go on for ages.
Guess what, it's been confirmed that Route 280 from exit 6 to exit 13 will remain in the rough milled condition till summer of 2010!
According to the Star Ledger, they're spending over $23 Million to repair the 18 miles of Rt 280 that carry over 100,000 cars daily. It's the first repaving project on the highway since 1975 apparently.
You'd think $23 Million would get a quicker time line than 1 year for repairs!
